Patagonian musician René Griffiths is the subject of a new film by Super Furry Animal singer Gruff Rhys.
In 'Seperado' Rhys travels through Wales, Brazil and Argentina in search of his long-lost relative René, who featured as a singer and guitarist on Welsh television during Gruff Rhys' childhood.
The Guardian gives the film 4 stars, summing it up as "a delightful experience – hilarious and surprising, but earnest in its belief that music can define and connect cultures. For a low-budget documentary, it's hard to see how they could have done much better."
