Tracks from René Griffiths' ground-breaking album Celtica Latina have featured on BBC Radio stations. Heno, Mae’n Bwrw Cwrw was broadcast on BBC Radio 3 Late Junction presented by Max Reinhardt, who described the album as "Welsh traditional music cross-fertilised with Argentine rhythms... his music reflects his twin cultural heritage."
Una Muchacha Y Una Guitarra was played on BBC World Service World of Music presented by Mark Coles. Mark said Celtica Latina uniquely had tracks in both Spanish and Welsh, and spoke about René featuring as the elusive subject in new film Seperado by Gruff Rhys, from Welsh rock band Super Furry Animals.
