If You Don’t Mind

If You Don’t Mind is the perfect amalgamation of hip hop and soul. Starting out its life as an exchange at a woodland rave; Alys asked the producer Nika for a lighter, and proceeded to sing the main line of the song ‘If You Don’t Mind..’. Nika went home and immediately created the instrumental.

Three years have passed since then and the song has taken a new lease of life. Tom Emlyn took the production reins and we re -recorded the vocals. He added reversed effects on the vocal adlibs and a vinyl crackle to the whole track to create ethereality.
