If You Don’t Mind is the perfect amalgamation of hip hop and soul. Starting out its life as an exchange at a woodland rave; Alys asked the producer Nika for a lighter, and proceeded to sing the main line of the song ‘If You Don’t Mind..’. Nika went home and immediately created the instrumental.

This dreamy track paves a new way for the previously folk-leaning Alys Hardy. Marseilles-based producer Nika and re-production from Tom Emlyn in the home studio has allowed this track to take flight.

'DO YOU SEE ME?' is a touching song which was written in the wake of some distressing events that caused Alys’ move away from Glasgow. Through song, Alys manages to express her emotions.

Recorded in an analogue style studio in Borth in Mid-Wales, Alys wanted a real-feel to the music, connecting listeners to what they hear. It is a collection of original songs that are tales of times gone by and lessons for the future.
